The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Burkentine can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear Uncle Jimmy, some of the best days of my life were working with you in the dairy and mowing the yard at the farm house. Going driving as you sped over the humps and made our stomachs tickle. I will never forget how silently strong you were. I miss you already and will miss you until we meet again in heaven.
