Obituary for Bruce Adam Sissum

Bruce Adam Sissum, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on October 30, 2016. He was 62.
Mr. Sissum was born in Fort Knox, KY, to Anna Sissum of Aberdeen, MD, and the late George T. Sissum. He was the devoted husband of 27 years to Joanne Sissum, loving father of Melina Danko and her husband Frank, of Morgantown, WV, and grandfather of Mason and Mia Danko of Morgantown, WV. He was the brother of Robert Sissum of Aberdeen, MD, Michael Sissum of Palm Harbor, FL, Diann Fisher of Havre de Grace, MD, Pamela Dennis of Parkland, FL, and his late twin-brother Brian Sissum.
Mr. Sissum attended Aberdeen High School. He was the Owner and Operated Sissum Electric. He was a member of the American Legion Post 128, the Havre de Grace Elks Lodge, and loved boating.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, from 3-5 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 5:00 PM. Pastor Norman Obenshain will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to American Legion Post 128, 44 North Parke Street, Aberdeen, MD, 2100, American Legion Post 47, 501 St. John Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078, or Elk’s Lodge BPOE 1564, 940 Pulaski Highway, Havre de Grace, MD, 21078.
