I remember the first time I met Ed. It was in Greenbriar Apts. Claudia, his loving companion, had invited Eddie and myself over to meet her friend and enjoy time together. Edward was a friendly but quiet guy, he made us feel welcomed and shared in conversations that evening. I could see the love that he and Claudia shared. That was 26 years ago! Well what can I say, that was a long time ago and throughout the years together, they built a relationship in love and trust. Together, they had a beautiful home filled with little critters! A dog named Bear and several kittens all of which were their very special fur children! They both shared a kindness towards animals and loved the nature surrounding their home. Wether it be a squirel, rabbits, or deer they found enjoyment in their mere presence. They together enjoyed their quiet but precious life. Ed enjoyed taking care of the property and helping others as needed until recently when his health had declined and with that, the brightnest of his smile had dimmed, his sparkling eyes weren't as bright, and his conversations were limited but, his love for his companion, Claudia always shined. The day of his passing he had gotten breakfast for he and Claudia as he did most mornings (this was no exception) but for what ever reason God called him home that afternoon. I suppose God needed an angel and Ed was chosen. So, Edward thanks for the many years of friendship and may you find peace in your Eternal Life, and Claudia, may you find peace with the beautiful memories you and Ed have shared.
Sincerely, Ed and Lorena Jones.
