The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Jolley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Dennis Dodd
Condolence: Dear Donna,God blessed you John / Jack Jolley. He was my boss at Aberdeen Proving Ground in 1978 - 1981. Jack taught me how to become a better officer and military police officer. His wife Donna was an invaluable wife and supporter of Jack. He is sorely missed and will be missed. My wife passed away in December 2016 and I know your loss only too well. We will meet our partners if life again! My sincere condolences.

Most sincerely,

Dennis

Condolence: As an impressionable young first LT I had the privilege of serving under Jack. A great Soldier, leader and human being Jack in my eyes personified what a good leader needed to be. Charismatic, funny, but tough when he needed to be Jack was a great inspiration and sterling example to those of us so privileged to have served with him. A great man has gone to his reward. I can hear him saying "if you're reading this I'm playing golf in heaven...." That was Jack. Donna, Mar and I offer our most heartfelt condolences you and the entire Jolley family. May the many, many wonderfully fond memories of Jack assuage the anguish you are feeling at this sad time. Know you and Jack are in our prayers. Personally I'll look forward to seeing him on the other side.....we tell lies about our time at Aberdeen and raise a pint or two! God Bless you and Jack as He welcomes a great man and Soldier into heaven...with a good tee time!

Condolence: To the Jolley Family
I am so sorry for your loss. It is difficult to cope with the death of our dear loved one, but we have our special memories to help us to move forward. God is always there to comfort us (2 Corinthians 1:3,4).  We can also consider Acts 24:15 where we read about the hope of the resurrection of both the just and unjust. I pray this helps you to find peace.

Condolence: Donna and family,
Wanted to send my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Jack was a special friend to all of us during our school years in Oil City. I have fond memories of the times that we all gathered at Neidich's Grocery Store, our time together at Gannon and with the Sigs.
A special thank you to you and Jack for the years he so proudly served our country.
God Bless,
Dino

Condolence: Dear Donna, my condolences to you and your family. I have fond memories of both you and Jack from our days at St. Joe’s. I grew up just a few blocks from Jack so we ran in the same group of guys all through our elementary school days. He was always a stalwart friend and that continued on into our time together at Gannon where we were Delta Sigs together. My heart is heavy for all of you and hope you find peace knowing his struggles are over.
