Obituary for Patrick James "Homer" Kegerreis

Patrick J. Kegerreis, “Homer”, age 60, of Aberdeen, MD passed away on May 10, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Betty Kegerreis for 18 years. .

He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Beatrice W. Kegerreis and the late Colonel John Kegerreis.

He was the loving father of Heather Kegerreis of Charlotte, NC, step-father of Michele D. Henning and her husband, Kurt, of Elkton, MD, and Laura K. Williams of Havre de Grace, MD. He was the grandfather of Wesley A. Bowers, Amanda N. Henning, Denzel A. Bowers, Brooke A. Bowers, and Sydney A. Henning. He was the brother of John Kegerreis and William Kegerreis. He is also survived by his beloved cat, Nikki.

Mr. Kegerreis attended Hershey High School and went to Valley Forge Military Academy. Mr. Kegerreis then joined the United States Navy and became a Navy Seal. After his military service, he worked on offshore oil rigs. He also worked for Ferguson Electric for 16 years. He then became a Master Electrician and owned his own electrical business, Aerie Electric. Mr. Kegerreis loved animals and nature. He enjoyed motorcycles, ice hockey, and crossword puzzles. Pat touched the hearts of everyone he met. He never met a stranger.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M.
