John Andrew "Drew"  Shank
John Andrew “Drew” Shank of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on January 9, 2015 in Raleigh, NC. He was 20. He was the loving son of Ellsworth Mitchell “Mitch” and Jessica Ann (Hartmann) Shank. He is survived by his sister Catherine Michalina “Michi” Shank. He was the grandson of Ellsworth and Madelyn Shank and Gene and Sonia Hartmann. He is survived by his Godmother Pam Smart, aunts, uncles, cousins and honorary family members.

Drew was a 2012 graduate of Havre de Grace High School and was attending Harford Community College. He enjoyed playing basketball, playing volleyball, fishing, bowling and mountain biking. He enjoyed music, playing the piano, video games, movies, traveling, amusement parks and roller coasters, as well as making people smile. Drew attended all three Grand Prix races in Baltimore.

A viewing will be held Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, Maryland. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11 AM at the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church, 101 South Union Avenue, Havre de Grace, Maryland. Pallbearers are Evan Hartmann, Robert Hartmann, RJ Smith, Chris Willis, Frank Duncan, Ryan Armstrong and Fred Zellman, II. Honorary pallbearers are Michi Shank, Julianna Tate, Chandler Blake, Kate Brandon, and Hannah Runge.

Officiating the Service will be Pastor Jeriah Shank and Pastor Jess Bousa.

Friends and family may make contributions in honor of Drew to Restore Church, 616 Ontario Street, Havre de Grace, Maryland 21078 c/o Crave-Drew.
