Obituary for William Thomas Nemeth

William Thomas Nemeth, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014. He was 89.

He was born in Kensington, Ohio, to Stephen and Mary Nemeth. He was the husband of the late Anna Babette Nemeth. He was the devoted father of James Nemeth of Havre de Grace, MD, and adored grandfather of Elizabeth “Liz” Nemeth of Havre de Grace, MD. He was predeceased by his four brothers.

Mr. Nemeth served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Aberdeen Proving Ground as a photographer. He was very active at Prince of Peace Catholic Church where he was a member. He enjoyed sports, especially ice hockey. He like gardening and was always there to lend a hand when it came to his son’s and grand-daughter’s projects.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014, at 10:00 AM, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD. Interment will follow at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
