Obituary for Barbara T. Jameson

Barbara T. Jameson, of Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014. She was 79.
Mrs. Jameson was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to William Reuben Turner and Martha Ann Lankford Turner. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert Lewis Jameson, loving mother of William “Bill” Jameson and wife Sheila, and Thomas “Tom” R. Jameson and wife Bonnie Barrows of Gaithersburg, MD, and grandmother of Kyle Jameson.
Mrs. Jameson grew up in Greenfield, Indiana. After graduating from high school there, she attended Purdue University, where she attained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics. She then completed an internship at the University Of California Hospital. Next, she moved to a job at Eden Hospital in Castro Valley, California and in 1958 met and married her husband Robert. After moving to Aberdeen, MD, she worked at Harford Memorial Hospital, then Meals on Wheels until her retirement in 1996. She then became active in the St. Vincent de Paul Society, which is now Good Samaritan Ministries, at her parish, St. Joan of Arc. She loved to travel and visited many places in North and South America, Europe and Australia.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10:00 AM, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 222 South Law Street, Aberdeen, MD.
