Obituary for Margaret Annabelle Jackson

Margaret Annabelle Jackson



Margaret Annabelle Jackson, of Havre de Grace, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. She was 85.

She was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to the late Alfred A. and Gertrude Weisenthal Kennedy. She was the wife of the late James W. Jackson. She was the loving mother of Jim Jackson of Elkton, MD Alfred Jackson and his girlfriend Barbara Thibault, of Conowingo, MD,
Lillie Vicari and her husband Dan of Auburndale, Florida, Peg Antonow and her husband Rob, of Myrtle Beach, SC, Elsie Clay and her husband Chuck, and Debbie Balch and her husband Phil, of Havre de Grace, MD, and Gale Thompson and her husband Emory, of Perryville, MD. She was the adored grandmother of 10 grandsons and one granddaughter, and 15 great- grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Eleanor Dukes of Perryville, MD.

Mrs. Jackson loved watching animals and birds, cooking, and playing slot machines. She also enjoyed sitting in her swing on the front porch reminiscing with her family while waiting for the Lantern Queen to come down the river.

The family would like to acknowledge the loving care she received from her grandson Marty Stout and his wife Amy and her great grandson Jamie Stout during her illness.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 5-7 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St. Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 29, 2010, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Leslie G. Slak will officiate. Interment will be held at HarfordMemorialGardens. The grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
