Sandra Pauline Jones, of Millsboro, DE, departed this life too soon on October 9, 2018. She was 66.
Sandy was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to Wayne Anthony Heins and Margaret Lucretia Taylor Heins. She was the beloved mother of Ronald “Ron” Cantrell, Jr., and his wife Sherry, Brian Troy Cantrell and his wife Michelle, and Heather Nicole Gray, and adored grandmother of Candace Gooch, Kayla, Sarah and Brandon Cantrell, and great-grandmother of J.R., Calie, and Lachlan Gooch. She was the baby sister of Bonnie Kampes and Linda Wilson.
Sandy spent here career in the banking industry and currently worked at the Community Bank of Delaware. Above all family was first enjoying memories made spending time with them as well as friends, especially her grandchildren. She had a passion for crafting, enjoyed planting flowers, walking the Promenade in Havre de Grace, photography, picking crabs, fundraising events, light houses and an avid fan of the orioles and ravens. Her impeccable dance moves, smile, laughter, caring and nurturing nature, and love filled her dash. Beautiful on the inside and out. For those who had the honor of making memories with her she will be dearly missed.
All are welcome to join in a celebration of Sandy’s life Saturday, October 13th at 2:30 pm Pleasant View Baptist Church, 150 Downin Lane Port Deposit, MD 21904.
