The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Millie Wood can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Aunt Ruth you will forever be in my heart & thoughts always. My memories will keep me going. You gave me a lot of my firsts. From first pair of heels, first perm and helping me buy my first home. I love you always and will miss you greatly. Rest In Peace and don’t worry about us.

Condolence: Once again, a celebration is going on in heaven as now all of Pa and Granny's children are together with them. Aunt Ruth fought a long and hard battle to stay with us but in the end, she went home to be with the Lord and her loved ones. Even though I feel the pain and loss of her passing, I can also feel the joy that she is no longer dealing with the health issues that she endured these last years. I can almost imagine her entering the gates of Heaven riding her motorcycle, and smiling from ear to ear. You are forever in my heart Aunt Ruth and I will love you and miss you always.

Condolence: I will miss Aunt Ruth. I always enjoyed being around her as a child and as an adult. I will always remember her spunky spirit and the time we both had mustangs in the 60's. I know she is with Granny, Paw, Dad, Mom, and Ray. I miss them all. A large family is a blessing when you are young..but it is very sad when they all go home and you are still here. Even though I am over 400 miles away my thoughts are with all of you.
