Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michelle Vega can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Michelle Lynn "Micki"  Vega (Kurilko)
Michelle “Micki” Lynn Vega, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on June 8, 2018. She was 56.
Micki was born in East Lake, Ohio. She was the daughter of Robert T. Kurilko and his wife Michelle, and Dorothy “Dotty” Hollis, and her husband David. She was the devoted wife of Jose Vega, loving mother of Samantha Michelle Vega and Michael Joseph Vega and his wife Kayla, and Cristobal Kayhoe, and grandmother of Sofia Maria Vega. Mrs. Vega was the sister of Robert Kurilko and his wife Angela, and David Kurilko and his wife Darcie, daughter- in-law of Julia Cabrera and the late Miguel Vega, sister-in-law of Pedro Vega, Pablo Vega, Ana Ortega, Rosana Vega, Javier Crespo, and Luzma Gomez, and aunt of Iyana Crespo, Alba Vega, Irene Vega, Paula Vega, David Kurilko, Jr., Dustin Kurilko, Devan Kurilko, Shawn Kurilko, Connor Kurilko, and Riley Kurilko. She is also survived by her loving and faithful dog, Diesel.
Mrs. Vega was the Director of Foreign Students at Virginia Commonwealth University. She was a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She loved being with her family, sewing and traveling.
Services will be private.
