Obituary for Tammy Marie Herd (Obloy)
Tammy M. Herd of Port Deposit, MD, passed away on May 7, 2018 at the Harford Memorial Hospital. She was 47.
Ms. Herd was born in Washington, D.C. to the late John Edward and Charlene Ann (Dickerson) Obloy. She was the devoted mother of Joseph D. Herd and Jacob D. Herd. She was the loving sister to; Jeffrey Raff, John Christopher “Chris” Obloy, Valarie Fitzgerald and David Obloy.
Ms. Herd was working at Christiana Hospital as a Medical Assistant. She loved reading, shopping and truly enjoyed her job and helping people. She loved the beach and her dogs “Sasha” and “Dusty”. She was the life of the party and could brighten a room the moment she walked in. She would often be heard saying “C’mon let’s take a picture!” because she loved capturing memories with her friends and family.
A viewing will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. A funeral service will be immediately following at 6 P.M.
In lieu of flowers friends and family may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202
