Kevin Lee Dowell, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on April 11, 2018. He was 55.
Mr. Dowell was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to John Paul Dowell and Patty Davis Tharp. He was the devoted husband of 36 years to Sharon L. Dowell, loving father of Melissa Curry and her husband Michael, Chelsea Dowell, Kyle Dowell, Kristopher Dowell, and Tara Dowell. He was the adored grandfather of Jamie Curry, Mason Curry, Gracyn Hurst, and Kendall Dowell. Mr. Dowell was the dear brother of Keith Dowell, Dottie Bortmes, and Dolores Kelly.
Kevin was driven in life by his desire to take care of others. He enjoyed working on old cars and tinkering with just about everything. He loved boating and spending time with his family. He was a Test Officer assigned to the Threat Detection and System Survivability Branch for the U.S Army Aberdeen Test Center at Aberdeen Proving Grounds.
