Andrew Ray Tucker, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away surrounded by loving family on February 20, 2018. He was 73.
Andy was born in Midway, West Virginia, to Edward Tucker and Clyta Tucker. He was the devoted husband of 51 years to Sandi Tucker, loving father of Jamie Tucker and his wife Danielle Tucker of Rising Sun, MD, and Shawn Tucker and his wife Kristina Tucker of Conowingo, MD. He was the adored grandfather of Skylar Tucker, Shawna Tucker, Hailey Tucker, Mckena Tucker, A.J. Tucker Jr. and great-grandfather of Kinsley Burnette. Andy was the brother of Phyllis Perzanowski and her husband Lee Perzanowski, of Havre de Grace, MD. He was also “Uncle Andy” to many nephews and nieces. Andy was preceded in death by his two brothers Paul Franklin Tucker and Michael Dewey Tucker.
Andy worked for many years as an oil burner technician. He was a member of the “T” Team and touched the hearts of many children and families by portraying Santa Claus for many years. He loved to ride motorcycles, work on cars, collect antiques and he spent many hours behind the lens of a camera recording cherished family memories. He was the master of Hillbilly Ingenuity. Andy Tucker was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he will be sorely missed by all.
A Viewing will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018, from 11AM until 1PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St, Havre De Grace, MD. Funeral Services will begin at 1PM. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens.
