Obituary for Larry Alan Green

Larry Alan Green of Soddy Daisy, TN, (formerly of Aberdeen, MD) passed peacefully Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Memorial Hospital Hixson. He was 61. Born in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of the late Clifford Commodore and June Inez (Bledsoe) Green. Larry was a devoted husband and companion of Lisa Green for almost twenty-three years.

Mr. Green was a proud member of Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle where he served as Maintenance Director. Mr. Green enjoyed fishing and hunting, trips to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and being with friends and family having an amazing time fellowshipping, laughing, and carrying on.

He was preceded in death by his father; mother; brother, Dr. Edward Green, and sister-in-law, Linda Green. He is survived by his wife; his nephew, Dr. Brooks Alan Green and wife Roseanne of Soddy Daisy, TN; and great-nieces Cadence Rose and Allison Claire.

A memorial service will be conducted by his nephew, Monday, October 30, 2017, at 7:00 PM, at Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle, 8405 Daisy Dallas Road, Hixson, TN, 37343. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are: Randy Duncan, Nick Goins, Mike Harrington, Mick Martin, Tommy Million, Thomas Piddington, Gary Settle, Warren Saunders, Nathan Swearengin, Billy Testerman and Daniel Testerman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle, 8405 Daisy Dallas Road, Hixson, TN 37343.
