Obituary for Ida Elizabeth Wolbert (Lovett)

Ida Elizabeth Wolbert, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on July 20, 2017. She was 80.
Mrs. Wolbert was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Vincent Lovett and Henrietta Walcott Lovett. She was the devoted wife of 60 years to Edward W. Wolbert, loving mother of Lee Sellare and her husband Jim; Donna Wolbert and her husband Nick; Edward Wolbert, Jr.; Michael Wolbert and his wife Perlee; Michele Wolbert; James Wolbert and his wife Terri; Frank Wolbert and Eugene Wolbert and his wife Shannon. She was survived by 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Vincent Lovett, Betty Lovett, Mary Devereau, George Lovett, Kas Meyer and the late John Lovett.
Mrs. Wolbert was a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, and volunteered serving meals at Grace Place. She was an accomplished dress and gown maker, but her love was raising her children and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD, from 5-8 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017, at 9:30 AM, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 615 Congress Ave., Havre de Grace, MD. Interment will follow at Mt. Erin Cemetery. Fr. Dale Picarella will officiate.
Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
