Treva Coe DuBree Curry of Havre de Grace, passed away at home on July 8, 2017 after an eight year battle with Dementia. She was 87.

Born on March 2, 1930 in Darlington, she was the daughter of the late Arthur John and Lillian May DuBree, the youngest of 20 children. She retired after 19 years of driving the school bus for Ralph Knight at Level Village. A faithful member of Hopewell United Methodist Church, she taught Sunday School and Bible School, directed the junior choir, sang in the adult choir and served as secretary for the Women’s Society. Treva played softball for several years before an injury forced her to quit. She was an avid bowler and loved travelling all over the country for competitions over the years. Treva enjoyed family picnics, sewing, cooking, canning and baking; coconut cream and lemon meringue pies were her specialty.

Treva is survived by two daughters Amelia Ann Feiler and Deborah Lea Simmons, son in law Paul Simmons; nine grandchildren, Tom Lloyd and wife Amy, Heather Forney and husband Andy, Michelle Davis, Stephanie Walker and husband Seth, Jeremy Simmons and wife Tiffany; eleven great-grandchildren, Alex and Gavin Lloyd, Connor and Finn McCoy, Wyatt and Reed Forney, Aurora, Xavior, Hadassah and Penelope Walker, and Faye Simmons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her best friend and soul mate, husband Roy Thomas “Ned” Curry; their twin boys, Timothy Lee and Robert Thomas Curry; ten brothers, William, Joseph, James, Wilmer, Wilson, Robert, Charles, Ramsey, Lawrence and Carroll DuBree; five sisters, Esther DuBree Dagg, Gretta DuBree Jourdan, Mary DuBree Plott, Virginia DuBree Mackey, Bessie DuBree Irwin; and two half-sisters, Eva DuBree and Mabel DuBree Smith.

Viewings will be held at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, Maryland 21078 on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 10:00am to 11:00am. The funeral will follow at 11:00am with Pastor Sarah Elliott officiating. Interment will be at Rock Run Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tom Lloyd, RJ DuBree, Jeremy Simmons, Michelle Davis, Stephanie Walker and Stacy Reynolds with honorary pallbearers, Alex and Gavin Lloyd, Gregory Reynolds, Brittany DuBree, and Lauren Caudill.
