Obituary for Lou Ann Harvey Wagoner (Harvey)

Lou Ann Harvey Wagoner, 62, passed away peacefully on the morning of March 18, 2017. She went home to be with her late husband, Roger Clinton Wagoner.


Lou Ann truly had a unique sense of humor which she was well known for. She was a kind, caring, gruff jokester. She enjoyed her family, reading, and watching the Hallmark Channel and Food Network.

Lou Ann was born in Coatesville, PA, to Sara Lou Harvey of Havre de Grace, MD, and the late Burton Eugene Harvey. The family moved to Havre de Grace in 1957. Lou Ann graduated from Havre de Grace Senior High School in 1973. She worked at Citizens Nursing Home and retired from Perry Point VAMC in 2015, after 32 years of service.

Lou Ann was the devoted mother of Eric Roger Wagoner and his wife Tina of Havre de Grace, MD, and Cynthia “Cyndi” Diane Bolyard and her husband Loye of Aberdeen, Maryland. She was the grandmother of Tyler, Ryan, Danielle, Kayla, Miranda, Jeffrey, Jocelyn and soon to be born, Ryleigh Ann. She was the great-grandmother of Hailey, Carley and Adalyn. Lou Ann was the sister of Donna Harvey- Praytor and her husband Jerry of Inman, KS, Kathy J. Burkhalter and her husband Herb of Fort Collins, CO, Karen V. Zellman and her husband Lee, of Havre de Grace, MD, James H. Cullum and his wife Patricia of Brentwood, TN, Burton C. Harvey and his wife Laura of High Point, NC, Paula M. Anis and her husband Mike of Conowingo, MD, William C. Cullum of Bell Buckle, TN, and Charles E. Walters of NC. She is also survived by several in laws and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and beloved friends.

As per Lou Ann’s request, a memorial service will be held at a later date, when weather is warmer, to celebrate the lives of Lou Ann and Roger.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Chesapeake Cancer Alliance, Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation, 520 Upper Chesapeake Drive, Suite 405, Bel Air, MD 21014.
