Obituary for James Morgan McMillan

James Morgan McMillan, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on March 7, 2017. He was 83.
Mr. McMillan was born in West Jefferson, North Carolina, to Guy Morgan McMillan and Dora E. McMillan. He was the devoted husband of the late Patricia Wilson McMillan, loving brother of Bill E. McMillan and uncle of Dorelei “Dodie” McMillan.
He is also survived by his “lady-friend” Kitty Brooks.
Mr. McMillan was a graduate of the Havre de Grace High School Class of 1953. He retired from C&P Telephone Company. Mr. McMillan was a magnificent decoy carver and painter. He was a founding member of the Decoy Museum, a member of the Havre de Grace ELKS Lodge, and the Susquehanna Masonic Lodge # 130. He was also a Life Member of Susquehanna Hose Company.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM, at Grace Reformed Episcopal Church, 560 Fountain Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM at church. The Rev. Mark Specht will officiate. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens.
