Obituary for Zelma Marie Breen (Woods)

Zelma Marie Breen, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on January 12, 2017. She was 94.
Mrs. Breen was born in Webster Springs, WV, to Ira Woods and Cora Luberta Pugh Woods. She was the devoted wife of the late Norman L. Breen, loving mother of Barbara L. Demos and her husband John, Thomas Breen and his wife Ann, and the late Edward Breen and Robert Breen. She was the adored grandmother of Taunya, Tamara, Brian, Kevin, and Angela, great-grandmother of 10, and great-great grandmother of 2. She was the dear sister of Tom and Edmund Woods, and was predeceased by 7 other siblings.
Mrs. Breen loved children, raising many and helping raise many others. She enjoyed cooking and sewing, making porcelain dolls, stuffed teddy bears and Easter rabbits. Mrs. Breen was know in her local area for making and selling Raggedy Ann dolls.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at 11:00 AM, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD. Father Damien Breen will officiate. Interment will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
