Obituary for Bonnie Ruth Capute
Bonnie Ruth Capute, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on January 4, 2017. She was 90.
Mrs. Capute was born in Hemlock, North Carolina, to William and Lilly Mayberry. She was the devoted wife of the late Russell D. Capute, loving mother of Jerry Eugene and his wife Edith Capute, of Havre de Grace, MD, and Pauline Carter and her husband Bobby Ray Carter, of North East, MD. She was the adored grandmother of Dana, Ronald and Larry Carter, and Russell and Christine Capute, and great-grandmother of Lilly Capute, Bobby, Paul, Greg, Kaitlyn, Daniel, and Allison Carter, Mike Karschner and Nick and Christopher Nordoff. She was predeceased by her siblings Robert Mayberry, Ester Cox, Gladys Cox, Bessie Farmer, Hettie Farmer, and Bill Nichols.
Mrs. Capute loved quilting.
A viewing will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017, from 10 AM until 12 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 12 PM. Pastor Ron Smith will officiate. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Russell Capute, Michael Karschner, Greg Carter, Daniel Carter, Paul Carter and Bobby Carter.
