James Edward “Eddie” Woodie, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on December 14, 2016. He was 45.
Mr. Woodie was born in Havre de Grace, MD to Edward James Woodie and Linda Marie Woodie of Havre de Grace, MD. He was the devoted husband of Nina Renee Woodie for 6 years, loving father of Dylan Cole Woodie, Colin Michael Woodie, Ethan Noah Woodie, Joshua Tyler Ostrowski, and Christabelle Lynn Woodie. He was the dear brother of Shawn Duane Woodie, Patrick “Scott” Woodie and his wife Christina; and Christine Roop and her husband Rick.
Mr. Woodie was a member of Porter’s Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed being at church, hiking, boating and fishing. He also loved to cook.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 6-8 PM, and Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 10 AM until 12 PM, at Porter’s Grove Baptist Church, 478 Connelly Road, Rising Sun, MD, 21911. Pastor Steven Dixon will officiate. Interment will be held at Harford memorial Gardens.
