Obituary for Helen Martha Moll

Having celebrated her 100th birthday in September with family and friends, Helen Martha Moll died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Havre de Grace on December 5, 2016.
Mrs. Moll was born in 1916, one of 8 children, to Joseph and Anna Chernowski. In 1938, she married the love of her life, Bishop Moll, who died in 1995.

“The last leaf has fallen and Gabriel has blown his horn and Mom is dancing
in the arms of Dad in heaven.”

Mrs Moll was an extraordinary cook, easily able to feed an army. A devoted wife and homemaker, she was known to sweep every leaf and pinecone from her driveway.
She was a faithful member of Saint Patrick’s Church and insisted on arriving a half hour early. Her kind and caring nature, inner strength and wisdom were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Mrs. Moll was the loving mother of Robert B. Moll and wife Elizabeth Moll of Salt Lake City, UT, Florence Adams and her late husband David Adams of Bel Air, Md, and Richard Moll and spouse Shivinder Singh of Parkville, Md. She was the adored grandmother of Lisa Jones and husband Eddie,Keith Moll and wife Brittany,Jeffrey Moll and wife Felise and Mark David Adams and his partner Deanna Harris. She was pre-deceased by a granddaughter, Terri Hamilton. She was also the beloved great grandmother of Ashley Jones, Ella Moll and Olivia Moll. In addition to her family, she is survived by her beloved caretaker of the past 61/2 years, Toni Harris.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 2-4 PM and 6-8pm at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, Md. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016, at 10:00AM at St. Patrick's
Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD. Father Picarella will officiate. Internment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens.
