Obituary for Agnes Tebin
Agnes Tebin, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on November 25, 2016. She was 89.
Mrs. Tebin was born in Forestville, PA, on Jan 14, 1927 to Peter and Catherine (Sternick) Padelsky. She was the devoted wife of the late Michael Tebin, Sr., loving mother of Joan M. (Tebin) Roland of Aberdeen, MD, Michael Tebin, Jr., and Marlyn Stone of Aberdeen, MD, Stephen Tebin and his wife, the late Darlene Tebin, of Fallston, MD, Joseph W. Tebin, Sr., and his wife Lisa of Perryville, MD, and Peter A. Tebin, Sr., and his wife Molly of Port Deposit, MD, adored grandmother of Lisa Ann Cole and her husband Paul, Joseph W. Tebin, Jr., Peter A. Tebin Jr. and his wife Angelica, Jessica Tebin Burton and her husband Brian, and Christina Brooks and her husband Joshua, and was the great-grandmother of Briyanna Engle, Kaelyn Burton, Makenzie Brooks and Trenton Tebin. Mrs. Tebin was predeceased by all of her siblings: Michael Padelsky, Joseph Padelsky, John Padelsky, Mary Hudock, Anna Beretsky, Stella Weachock, Sophie Hornberger, Margaret Pielacha and Antionette “Belle” Puglia.
Mrs. Tebin worked for many years at L&H Cleaners in HDG. She was a member of the Havre de Grace Senior Center and Young at Heart. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, Scrabble, and was an avid gardener, especially with her roses. She was inducted in 2001 into the Havre de Grace Little League Hall of Fame. Her true love was being with her family and her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and also liked crocheting.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, from 6-9 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD and on Thursday December 1, 2016 from 9:45 to 10:15am. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at 11:00 Am, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD. Father Dale Picarella will officiate. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens.
Along with flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Havre de Grace Little League, P.O. Box 122, Havre de Grace, MD, 21078.
