Obituary for Douglas Arthur Lingenfelter

Douglas Arthur Lingenfelter, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on October 5, 2016, due to complications from neck surgery. He was 39.
Doug was born in Havre de Grace to Sue B. Sampson Lingenfelter and the late Harry Lingenfelter. He was the brother of Glen E. Lingenfelter and his wife Megan, of Havre de Grace, MD, and loving uncle of Brittany, Bethany, Andrew, and Ava. Doug also leaves behind his beloved dog, Jackson, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
Doug graduated from Havre de Grace High School Class of 1995. He attended Frostburg University for 2 years. Doug worked at Aberdeen Proving Ground for Jacobs Contractors. Doug was a former member of the Susquehanna Hose Company. He was an avid Orioles Fan. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially spending time on the water. He also loved woodworking and built his own boat. Doug liked cutting grass, cooking and hanging out with his friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 10. 2016, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at a later date.
