Obituary for Mary E. Francis

Mary E. Francis, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on February 8, 2016. She was 91. Mrs. Francis was born in Darlington, MD, to William Thomas Wright and Edna Carr Wright. She was the wife of the late William Howard Francis, Sr., loving mother of Toni F. Rembold and her husband, Nelson, of Aberdeen, MD, William H. Francis, II and his wife Lynn, of New Alexandria, PA, and the late Richard T. Francis. She is also survived by her daugther-in-law, Carol T. Francis, and Mary Dunham, who was like a surrogate daughter and caretaker. She was the grandmother of Samantha Francis-Jackson, Ryan Francis, Justin Francis, and the late Sloane Michele Francis. She had 1 great-granddaughter, 2 great-grandsons, and one great-great granddaughter. She was also predeceased by her sister Alice D. Smith and her brother –in-law Dean Smith. She also leaves behind her loving companions, Dolly and Puss-Puss.
Mrs. Francis loved animals and supporting animal groups.
Services were private.
