Obituary for Lamar Albert Zoeffel

Lamar Albert Zoeffel, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on November 15, 2015. He was 90.
Mr. Zoeffel was born in Norton, West Virginia, to Albert Zoeffel and Pearl Scott Zoeffel. He was the husband of the late Doris Jean Zoeffel, loving father of Lamar Dean Zoeffel and his husband, Robert Wesley Kimble, of Havre de Grace, MD, and dear brother of the late Joel Keith Zoeffel, Miriam Eads, Mildred Taylor, Charlotte Elmaer, and Mae Thompson.
Mr. Zoeffel served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a lineman at Aberdeen Proving Ground. He was a member of the American Legion, the Elks Lodge in Havre de Grace, and was also a member of First Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM. Pastor Ron Tabor will officiate. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens.
