Obituary for Joanne P. Eck

Joanne P. Eck, of Aberdeen, MD passed away on July 19, 2015. She was 84. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Nicholas and Anita Forsea. Mrs. Eck was the devoted wife of 62 years to C. Ross Eck, loving mother of Charles R. Eck, M.D., and his wife DeSales Kelly Eck, of Havre de Grace, MD, and Leslie Eck-Dissek and her husband Michael Dissek of Aberdeen, MD. She was the adored grandmother of Matthew R. Eck, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Alex, and her sister Sylvia Muresan.

Mrs. Eck was a graduate of Patterson Park High School and Bard-Avon School, both in Baltimore. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 201 Mt. Royal Avenue, Aberdeen, MD. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.
