Maria Luisa  Nogales
Maria Luisa Nogales, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on February 24, 2015. She was 80 years old.
Mrs. Nogales was born in Lima, Peru, to Alberto Castro and Maria Luisa Franco Castro. She was the devoted wife of the late Vicente Nogales, loving mother of Hernan Robert Nogales and his wife Ida of Lima, Peru, Jorge Enrique Nogales and his wife Esther, of Lima, Peru, and Rosa Haydee Long and her husband John, of Abingdon, MD. John was more than a son-in-law, always there to take care of his mother-in-law. She was the adored grandmother of Kevin Patrick Long, Patrick William Long, Melanie Nogales, Renzo Nogales, Angel Nogales and Ida Alicia Nogales. She was the sister of the late Alberto Gabriel Castro.
Mrs. Nogales was an excellent mother, always being there for her family. She was an excellent cook. She had a tenacious spirit, and never gave up on anything.
A viewing will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Baker Cemetery. FatherDale Picarella will officiate.
