Obituary for Leonard E. Ferguson Sr.

Leonard E. Ferguson, Sr., of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on December 25, 2014. He was 86.
He was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to Elmer H. Ferguson, Sr., and Virgie Sampson Ferguson. He was the loving husband of 64 years to Eleanor McLhinney Ferguson, devoted father to Leonard E. Ferguson, Jr., and his wife Vicki of Havre de Grace, MD, Steven Thomas Ferguson of Havre de Grace, MD, and Susan E. Ragan and her husband Daniel of Aberdeen, MD. Mr. Ferguson had 7 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Margaret Ferguson Sandford and her husband Jack of Virginia Beach, VA, the late Leon Dennis, Elmer H. Ferguson Jr., and Hazel Ferguson Norris.
He was the owner of Ferguson Electric where he worked for 66 years. He was a member of the Harford County Electrical Board. His favorite passed times were hunting, fishing and riding the country roads.
A viewing will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A, 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM. Father Dale Picarella will officiate. Interment will be held at Mt. Erin Cemetery.
