Obituary for Richard Kemp "Rick" Ferguson
Richard K. “Rick” Ferguson of Aberdeen, MD passed away on February 5, 2014 at the Perry Point V.A. Medical Center. He was 63. He is survived by his loving companion Sandra D. Willig.
Rick was born in Havre de Grace, MD to Beverly M. (Richardson) Pelton and the late Richard O. Ferguson. His grandparents were the late Kemp and Evelyn Richardson.
Mr. Ferguson was the devoted father to Kai, Taunya , Marie, Jocelyn, Chris and Jennifer. He was the loving grandfather to several. He was the brother of William Pelton, Lucinda Preston, Leslie Hall, Tracey Berry, Laura McGonigal, Lynda Juchniewicz and the late Lawrence E. Ferguson.
Rick served as the maintenance engineer at the Graw Apartment complex in Havre de Grace, MD. He was the past Commander for six times at the American Legion Post #47 Havre de Grace, MD, where he had also held office as County Commander. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing and Scottish music. He loved attending Scottish festivals.
A viewing will be held on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 11 A.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD.
Interment will be held at Angel Hill Cemetery where Military Honors will be given for his dedicated service.
