Obituary for William N. Isennock

William N. Isennock


William N. Isennock of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on February 20, 2010 at Harford Memorial Hospital. He was 84. He was the loving husband of Lois J. Isennock. He was predeceased by his first wife of 49 ½ years the late Thelma Lancaster Isennock.
Mr. Isennock was a member of the Fallston United Methodist Church, where he was an usher at church. He was a member of the American Legion of Havre de Grace and the VFW of Havre de Grace, MD. He was also a proud member of the USS CAPS association. He loved gardening and taking long walks. He truly loved just being with his family and grandchildren. He was a decorated WWII and Korean War veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from the Department of Defense as an Inspector.
Mr. Isennock was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Albert A. and Florence Elsie (Adams) Isennock. He was a devoted step-father to John D. Pittam, Jr., Carolyn Smith and her husband Herbert, Cynthia Dominick and her husband John, Janet White and the late Sharon Wilbar and her surviving husband Russell Wilbar. He was a beloved step-grandfather to Shawn Smith, Erin Smith, Angela Johnson, Brad Pittam, Sara Pittam, Eric Dominick, Adam Dominick, John White and Josh White. He was the loving step-great grandfather to Destiny Crandall and Adamarie G. Dominick. He is survived by his brother Albert Isennock and his wife Midge and Elsie Winters and her husband Earl.
A vistation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 6 to 9 PM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 11 AM at the Fallston United Methodist Church, 1509 Fallston Rd., Fallston, MD.
Officiating will be Rev. James Ditto.
Interment will be at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
Military Honors will be given at the graveside.
Friends and Family may make a contribution in his memory to the Fallston United Methodist Church.
